Algebra 2 High-Impact Tutoring
Albert, a bright tenth grade student was struggling with Algebra 2. With only several weeks to the June 2024 Regents Exam, Albert and his mother scheduled an assessment with Mr. William Markowitz, director of Math Exceed.
Since the exam date was imminent, the recommendation to Albert was to implement a high-impact tutoring program. Essentially, a higher frequency of sessions are conducted over a shorter period of time. This approach requires diligence from the student and abundant patience from the tutor.
Over a short period of time, Albert began to develop a strong confidence in his math skills. He completed nightly homework, and gain tremendous clarity in topics such as polynomial functions, complex fractions, and quadratic equations.
In late June, Albert contacting Math Exceed to share good news, that he had significantly increased his Regents Exam score.
